In 2015, the journey of Rangamalai Organic Farms began with a single mission: to bring the honesty of the soil back to the modern table. After over two decades in the technology industry, our founder returned to his roots to merge precision with nature.
We realized that in the rush to commoditize spices, the most vital parts of the plant were being lost to industrial processing. Most turmeric you find today has been boiled at high temperatures to make it easier to grind into powder.
But at Rangamalai, we believe nature got it right the first time. We chose the legendary, GI-Tagged Erode variety—famed for its deep color and high curcumin—and decided to leave it exactly as it is.
