Description
Three ingredients, twenty-one suns, one quiet ritual
A solar-infused facial oil for sun-exposed, uneven skin. Hand-crafted in small batches at Rangamalai Organic Farms in Karur — where the turmeric, the flowers, and the moringa all grow within walking distance of each other.
- Non-staining wild turmeric
- 100% botanical, no fragrance
- Low comedogenic (2/5)
- Solar-infused, never heat-extracted
Twenty-one suns, not twenty-one minutes
In an industry racing for speed, we’ve chosen stillness. Our wild Kasturi Manjal and hand-picked Aavaram Poo flowers steep in cold-pressed moringa oil for three full weeks under the Karur sun.
No heat, no chemical extraction, no shortcuts. The sun’s gentle warmth draws out curcuminoids, flavonoids and the flower’s skin-soothing phytochemicals — slowly, the way our grandmothers did it.
“What takes its time, takes care of you.”
A short, honest ingredient list
Every botanical is grown or wild-harvested within our 10 acres. You could read this label aloud at a farmers’ market, and everyone would know what you meant.
Wild Kasturi Manjal
Curcuma aromatica
The non-staining, musk-scented cousin of kitchen turmeric. Its curcuminoids are a clinically-studied tyrosinase inhibitor, gently slowing the production of excess melanin. Grown without chemicals in the red soil of Karur.
Aavaram Poo Flower
Cassia auriculata
The golden flower of Tamil Siddha tradition — known as Tanner’s Cassia in English. Rich in antioxidants that soothe heat-stressed, sun-exposed skin. Hand-picked at dawn, shade-dried, never machine-milled.
Cold-Pressed Moringa
Moringa oleifera
Known in Tamil as Murungai. Seeds are cold-pressed at low temperature to preserve 70% oleic acid, vitamin E and phytosterols. Feather-light, low-comedogenic (2/5) and a superb carrier that drives the actives into the skin.
Honest outcomes, in a realistic timeline
Results build gradually. This is not a bleach, and we wouldn’t want it to be.
Softer sun-tan
Surface tan from daily UV exposure begins to lighten within 3–4 weeks of nightly use.
Quieter pigmentation
Dark spots and uneven patches look softer and less defined over a 6–8 week ritual.
Calmer skin
Aavaram’s cooling compounds reduce redness and the “heat” feeling of sun-exposed skin.
Nourished glow
Oleic acid and vitamin E leave skin supple, plump and softly luminous by morning.
Four unhurried minutes, before bed
-
Cleanse
Wash your face with a mild cleanser and pat skin slightly damp — not fully dry.
-
Warm 3–4 drops
Place the oil on your palms and rub gently for five seconds to activate warmth.
-
Press, then massage
Press into face and neck, then massage upward in small circles for 60 seconds.
-
Leave it overnight
Let the oil work as you sleep. Rinse with a gentle cleanser in the morning.
What this oil won’t do
It’s not an overnight miracle
Anyone promising “fair in 7 days” is selling you a bleach. Real results take 4–8 weeks of consistent nightly use.
It’s a nighttime elixir
Turmeric compounds can increase sun sensitivity. Use only at night, and always apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ during the day.
Deep melasma needs more
For persistent hormonal pigmentation or melasma, this oil is a supportive partner — not a replacement for dermatologist-guided care.
Patch test first
Apply a drop behind your ear for 24 hours. If you have active acne, rosacea, or a turmeric sensitivity, please skip this product.
Every drop is traceable to one farm, one family, one philosophy
Rangamalai Organic Farms was founded in 2015 on a simple idea: grow it honestly, process it slowly, share it widely. A decade later, those same values guide Pramaya Botanicals — our first skincare line, built with what the farm already grows.

Words from the first hundred
We sent samples to some of our customers before launch. Here’s what they told us, unedited.
“My tan from the Chennai summer had gone deep. Three weeks in, my cheekbones finally look like my cheekbones again. It also smells like my grandmother’s kitchen, which I didn’t expect to love so much.”
✓ Verified Buyer“I’ve tried kumkumadi, nalpamaradi, and two expensive Korean serums. This one doesn’t feel sticky in Bangalore humidity — that alone is worth it. Skin looks calmer, not just brighter.”
✓ Verified Buyer“I appreciated that the bottle tells you exactly what’s inside and nothing else is. At 35, I’m done with fourteen-ingredient serums. Four weeks in, my pigmentation on the upper lip is noticeably softer.”
