Mina keerai, also known as Minnal keerai or scientifically as Premna latifolia, is a treasured Tree Spinach variety once commonly found in our daily meals—but sadly forgotten over time. Rich in health benefits and cultural significance, this aromatic green deserves a place back in our kitchens.

At Rangamalai Organic Farms Nursery, we’re committed to bringing back these nourishing, heirloom varieties. Mina keerai is a perennial bush with flavorful leaves that are traditionally used in dishes like keerai preparations, chutneys, and rasam. It also pairs beautifully with other greens in mixed spinach curries.
